It was actually Főhadnagy (1st Lt.) Imre Kémeri Nagy, who led the battalion-strong HUngarian volunteers to fight the Red Army in Finland. However, the Hungarians did not eventually fight the Soviets, because when the armistice was signed they were still under training. By the way, Hungary helped the Finns with arms and ammo, including 4 cm Bofors flak cannon and 36M steel helmets.
